Where did you buy your dd's first bra. I am taking my 8yo and 10yo dd's to buy their first bras today and not sure where to go. I will probably check out target. Also what kind should they start with? Any advice would be appreciated.

I got simple stretchy cami type bras from Walmart or Kmart or some place like that. Nothing expensive, no padding, no hooks.  We kept it simple to start with at this early age.  Support isn't necessary, just a covering.

My DD is only 7 and isn't ready for a bra yet, but I'll probaly start with camis or the training bras that look like sports bras.

I got my daughter a stretchy sports bra from Zulily.com when they had some on sale.  She really likes that style.  I had gotten her one that more like a normal bra that she does not care for as much.  I think for now we will stick with the sports bra style as she is more comfortable with that.  She just needs coverage so it works well.

Yes, both of my girls have started buding if that makes sense. Ashlyn actually turns 8 on Saturday and is developing at the same time as my oldest Emma. She is emotionally under developed and I worry how she will handle all of the changes. Should I buy different styles to figure out what they like?

Oh wow, both at once! I would see what they like. I dont think they would need an actual bra, but the sports bra ones that are wayyyy more comfy. I wish i could still wear those! lol Good luck.

I get my DD's bras from Wal-Mart.  You can get 2 bras for $10 or less.  She is basically 11(3 weeks away :)) and wears a 34 A.

I got my dd first bra at target. Got a few at justice on sale. She started with the cami type when she first started to bud. Now she's almost 12 and is wearing a 34b but also needs padding as it will now show when its cold but still doesn't like underwire

Well the Ashlyn decided on sports bras and Emma was dead set on a padded bra and I said lets try them on. She was so uncomfortable and went with the cami style. That worked in my favor, cause I was dead set on no padded bras, LOL thank you ladies for your opinions. We also got 3 pairs of shoes for $20 at Kohl's. I love Kohl's!!!!
