no, not chia pets, chia SEEDS!

Have you seen the latest health rage?  Someone gave us a bag of them for Christmas and there they sit in my cupboard staring at me and waiting to be opened.


But what to do with them?  Sure, I can go online and find some recipes but I wonder if anyone has actually used and tasted them?

Anyone?

I have seen a commercial for them but I honestly didn't pay any attention to it.

I have seen them but it seems like every other day there is new health super food... I think you can use them in smoothies, oat meal, homemade bread and things like that.

That's what I was thinking. And it seems to hold more value for the body than vitamins with some things. I am seriously considering this, especially since hubby is diabetic and other health issues.
