Are you sending your kids to camp this summer??
How fun :O) I wish we had day camps.
Quoting crabbyD:Yes, my boys attend a day camp at the park district. They have tons of activies and keep them busy. I;m also sending my 12yo to an away camp with the boys scouts. It's only for a week, but I know he'll have tons of fun.
It really is.... They go five days a week from 10-4pm. They play sports, swim, activities, field trips and community service. They also give them lunch, but my boys really don't like it.

I don't trust our park district. When my kids were younger the camp kids used to show up every day at the pool. I had to stop a couple of kids from holding another kid underwater. There was no counselor supervising. They just sat at the side talking to each other (older HS kids). Fortunately, there are parents actually IN the pool and notice when this stuff happens. Not even the lifeguard noticed!
