What are bed times like for your kids durring school and over vacations like summer?

Our 10y/o DD has an 8pm bedtime on school nights and we are still debating what time is good for summer vacation.

During the school year my 13, 10 and 6 year olds go to bed at 8. The boys always argue for a later bed time. But I told them until they could get up in the morning on their own, they would be going to bed at 8. Apparently it's too much work for them to set an alarm clock. So 8 it is. lol  The 3 year old goes to bed when I do, usually around midnight. During the summer, if my husband is working they all go to bed at 10ish. Can't go before then because of stupid evil ice cream trucks, plus the neighborhood kids are all out screaming until at least 10.

My 12yo dd doesn't really have a bedtime. She has to be IN her bed by 10pm but she doesn't have to be asleep by a certain time. My 8yo has a bedtime of 9pm during he schoolyear, and 10pm during the summer.

No bedtime here, they are not babies. We do bedroom time, 8:30 is time for showers and quiet bedroom time, lights out between 9:15 and 9:30.

My DD10 and DS7 go to bed at 9pm school nights.
Weekends and summer break I would say 10pm-ish...Friday night is family movie night so it's usually ends up being 11pm-ish

But it also depends if we have plans in morning or not. (for non school nights)

My 12 is usually crashed out by 0830 but she is up at 0500 to catch the bus. Even on off days or summer breaks she's out by 9pm.  we live in a quiet area and by the time 2000 rolls around it's pretty quiet even in summer when most go away for the summer.

DD goes to bed at 8:30 on school nights and 9pm during the summer but as long as she hasn't been a giant pita we do allow her to read until 10pm in bed. This summer there is a show on ABC family I think she might like so I was thinking of letting her stay up still 10pm that night to watch it with me.
