Swimsuits

I have been noticing over the years how swimsuits for tweens and teens have gotten skimpier and skimpier. We just got back from the water park this past weekend and I was shocked to see what these kids were wearing. To all Moms, please inspect bikini bottoms on your girls. They are not supposed to ride up in the front that way and make they are not to big where when she sits, her junk is showing. There are way too many pervs out there looking for this kind of stuff.

I'm already having trouble finding one-piece suits for my dd, and she's only 6!

No kidding!!  It's crazy!  Some of my friends posted their daughter's in a swimsuit (elementary age) and I'm thinking "WHOA!  Where is the bathing suit??"  It made me feel uncomfortable looking at it.

I get all my kids (including my 6 year old twins) a 2 piece but a tankini 2 piece.

Whats even more disturbing are the guys looking. There was a father watching his two little ones in the pool and I clearly saw him go out of his way to look at these group of 12 to 13 year old girls. They even saw him looking and it didn;t phase them one bit.

Mines wear really cute swim shorts over their suits. So it's all good.

I get all my kids (including my 6 year old twins) a 2 piece but a tankini 2 piece.

My problem is that I really don't like 2 piece suits. When I was not-quite 9, I had the bottom of one start to come off of me when getting out of the pool by hoisting myself up onto the wall. I've had this thing against 2 piece suits ever since.

I always get my twins a tankini with one of those skirt bottoms. They won't even wear the other bottoms. Fine by me. They are 10. They can stay covered up as long as possible.

I hate having to buy bathing suits for my dd. She will be 8 this month but she is as tall as a lot of 10 year old girls so we are having to get her tankinis. Thankfully she was able to find a cute one that covers everything. She is very modest and does not like to have anything showing that doesn't need to be in a bathing suite.

I am very appalled by what I see a lot of young girls wearing. I would not like my dd leave her room if she wanted to go out in some of the suites I see on other girls.
