Heather showed the ultimate love a mother has for her child. She gave her life to save her 3-year-old daughter. She held on even while getting sucked up by the tornado that threw her hundreds of feet away. Even in death, she was still holding on to her baby girl.

There is currently a fund set up to help this hero mothers family.

For the children who lost their mother in the Tornado. There is a Trust fund set up at TD bank in the name of "Town Children Fund" Acct# 4265072739 ....any donations are welcome this family has nothing. These children need help. Thank you from the family.

The death, obviously was unexpected and the family has nothing. The 3-year-old was taken to All Children's Hospital in Tampa and was listed in serious condition, but is now classified as stable.

Please pass this on to other groups and please put it on your facebook pages. All of us moms should celebrate her heroic deed and praise her for her love and commitment to her children!

Most of your story is correct, but there is no "husband" who is now a single father. She was a single mother raising the kids with the help of her family. The father of one of the children died years ago. The father of the other two is not in the picture.
