well.....okay.....go ahead and gripe.
BUT
you also have to say TWO THINGS that are good about today

OHHH, the SUNSHINE is beautiful today!
The birds are chirping! It's gorgeous out! I'm sipping my coffee in the breakfast nook, enjoying the start of the day....
Yes, there may be lots of things to do, but I'm happy I'm not freezing.... it's not snowing... or raining. My head isn't pounding. Right now the boys aren't arguing. (One is still sleeping, LOL!)
Oh, the potential the day has yet! I have an appt right in the middle of it... but, then I'll be out and about getting things done!
Hmmm, so nice out, I really should pick a few things outdoors to get accomplished this afternoon.

Two things that are good about today.....well, the lilttle one I babysit is coming equipped with his 13 year old brother today. That's good because it gives my son somebody to hang out with, the toddler I watch worships his older brother and so it distracts him quite a bit, and he takes the dogs out for me. ;)
Another good thing about today is that the high is only 68F. I've got this nasy summer sinus cold that's kicking my butt, and a nice, quiet cool day is so much easier than a bright beautiful day where I'd feel obligated to do something productive.
Two things good about today . . . well . . . I started the day out right with a little *giggle* . . . the other good thing would be that I finally have my drawings done for my pool deck and need to call the town manager and have him come approve my zoning permit. (town manager is best friend's hubby and my boss, so it is already approved he just has to ink the official document) Then I need to schedule an appointment with the building inspector to get his approval and then I have my building permit.
Today is another slighlty slacking day for me. I need to go to school to check my mail, take oldest child to his tennis lesson, maybe vacuum the pool although it is chilly here, should do some work in my flower beds too since it isn't disgustingly hot and humid.
things are busy at work but it's all good stuff.
Two good things:
1. I'm going to a city council meeting tonight to accept a check on behalf of my program at work. One of the city councilpersons' youth group raised $500 for us.
2. My husband and I haven't been great lately but, i have to say, that I'm grateful for him lately. Since I'm coaching all-stars, I've been busy with that so that means he has to be the one taking our girls to soccer camp and all other places.
