I had THE hardest time getting DD1 to take showers last year. I have no idea why she didn't want to but it was a struggle. At the same time, she has really thick hair so in order to do it in the morning, she needed to wet it so it wouldn't be poofy. Towards the end of the school year, she realized that it was easier for her to do her hair when she took shower in the morning.
Now, she is taking showers regularly (YAY) in the morning so she can do her hair easier but she leaves the house with wet hair. I have to get her to towel dry it a little more and, sometimes, have her blow dry it. It wasn't a big deal during the summer but now that school has started, I'm trying to figure out if this is a battle that I want to take on. Should I let her go to school with semi-wet hair or make her dry it before she leaves. I guess its more because the mornings have been cooler and soon the weather is going to be colder.
What do you think?
I leave the house with wet hair pretty much every morning. The only time Lexie dries her hair in the morning is if she's straightening it or if it's a uniform day for cheer and she has to put it up. Otherwise, she towel-dries it as much as possible and she's ready to go.
