We want to see it.  In fact, my daughter just told me yesterday that she wants to use her movie gift card to take me or my husband to watch that movie.

I thought it was super fun! I don't know how old your daughter is or how sensitive you are to exposing her to movie characters behaving badly (lying to their parents, not being a good friend, etc...all of which were appropriately resolved), but my girls (7 & 8) LOVED it and I did too! I laughed out loud in parts, and I rarely do that. My older daughter has read the books so we knew what to expect (and we've seen the other movies too).

We have seen the other two. I thought they were decent family movies. My dd is 9 and really likes this series. This will be the first DoaWK movie for us to go see at the movies. I know there will also be a new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book coming out too.

My son wants to see it, but he hasn't really made a big deal about it. He can probably wait until it's out on DVD.

Although it had these things, it was great that Greg's dad let him know about taking responsibilty for his actions. That seemed to click with my tween. My husband and I enjoyed it as well and laughed at various times through out the movie.
