Has anyone used typing programs where you can talk and the programs types what you say? What program do you use? Good and bad? My son is dyslexic and I retrying to find programs to help him.
My work uses a program call Dragon Speak.
If you go to Best Buy, ask them about the transcription equipment and software. They might be able to help you.
To be honest, I'm not sure how well those softwares work yet. My co-worker that used to use it still had to do a lot of verbal "editing" to create a letter. I'm not sure if it would be able to help your son yet at this age. I could type a letter a lot faster than my co-worker could create one using Dragon Speak.
