I know, that was an absurdly geeky thing to say.
But I bought the "big" gifts that my boys wanted for Christmas. So I'm psyched. And I had to share.
"I know that something very strange Is happening to my brain.
I'm either feeling very good Or else I am insane.
The seeds of doubt you planted Have started to grow wild
And I feel that I must yield before The wisdom of a child.
And it's love you bring,
No, that I can't deny
With your wings,
I can learn to fly,
Sweet young thing."

That's awesome! I ordered all of the big gifts online and they all arrived this week. So I'm left with stocking stuffers! Yay us!
that's great! we are finally done with xmas shopping except for candy. the last of the gifts will arrive this weekend. i am excited that i was able to get the big gifts they wanted also. i was able to get my 11 year old son roller blades and my 8 year old son a wand. and not just any wand, not a harry potter replica or toy, i got him a handcrafted wooden wand with the "essence" of a griffin feather. sounds nerdy but he loves harry potter and tried to make his own wand and came to me a few weeks ago telling me he just needs a griffin feather to complete it. at first i was just going to get a random feather and package it like a special griffin feather but then i decided to check around the internet and found alivan's and they had the perfect wand. the one he tried to make was from an old piece of bamboo that was used to support a planted flower and was starting to get mold spots on it. the wand i ordered is so awesome. it comes with a pouch and i even got both boys a chocolate frog with trading card when i ordered the wand.
What's your hobby?
