R.J. Missed a week and a half of school a little while back due to mono.
When his mid term grades came in, he had an ugly F in algebra.
In three weeks time, before break. He has pulled that sucker all the way to an 89 B !
He stayed after class, never came home with work.... Did it at school every chance, will keep his standing in his academic club!
I so admire his tenacity and unwillingness to just let it go, and start fresh this next grading period.
I always think he's amazing, but this was a serious undertaking on his part, and he rose to the challenge with a simple shrug. I give thanks to his teacher for being there for him every spare moment, too. Good teachers really can help their students achieve their goals!

Thanks! He could have easily gotten overwhelmed and quit, but made the conscious choices to " hang on to that rope and climb!)
