12 year old was arguing with me after the subject was closed.

9 year old for being defiant and refusing to do what she was told.

Leaving the pool with some other kids, without talking to either of us first or even telling her older sister.

She has actually been pretty good here lately. KNOCK ON WOOD!

I guess she didn't see the pool for a while?

Not for the rest of the weekend.  That gave her plenty of time to write a required short essay titled, "Why I should not go somewhere without letting my parents know."   She complained about having to do that, but it made her think, and I think she learned from it.

Let It Go Or No? A boy that rides the bus with my daughter kept saying "Mariah he, Mariah ho" over and over again and annoyed her. Last year, this same kid made a death threat against her - the district didn't do shit.

"Sassing" her father last night. She wasn't really sassing him, but he considered it sassing when she told him that she feels it's inappropriate and makes her feel uncomfortable when he asks if she's wearing a bra. He reminded her that she's 12 and that he's her father. My ex has never had respect for any of the women in his life regardless of age. He and his brother treated their poor mom horribly - I sincerely hope she has been resting in peace these last 4 years.
