My daughter is two weeks old and during the day she pretty much sleeps but when she is awake for t short periods of time she is pretty fussy. Not screaming or anything but just not content. She loves the swing though when she is awake. But here lately at night from 6:30 to about 8:30 she is crying non stop sometimes she will stop but then it starts all over again. This has been going on for a week now. Does this mean that she is colic? I thought maybe gas???

Usually colic doesn't appear to about 4 weeks on. Shemay just be very gassy. Are you bf'ding her? or formula? babies cry if they're hungry, wet, or tired, some just fuss b/c thats how they are< says my dd's pediatrician, some babys are fussier then others,s ad but true. look for her legs pulling to her belly. Give her some gas drops, gripe water a massage. Sure the swing should help sooth her, if not, the car ride always workd for my son. give it a while , she may just be trying to adjust to her new world. Good luck, u can PM me anytime.
