Hi, My name is Darlene, I have been looking for a group like this. I have two daughters, one is 37 and the other is 34. I can't believe they are that old, ya I said it right, they are old, not me!!!!! I have been pretty much alone all my life, a happy one it was not. Marriage didn't agree with me either I tried it twice! I raised the girls alone, needless to say it was not easy. Their fathers were worthless and didn't even want to support them, they rarely saw them. Yea, don't I sound like a barrel of laughs? I really am, though, ya just got to get to know me. Just saying........I know I'm not the only one that has a lot of baggage they'd like to forget, it happens to the best of us. My daughters didn't do so well themselves, the older one faired better in life than her sister. Everyday I listen to the heartache & problems of my daughter's life, a life gone wrong cause she didn't listen to her Mother! I love them both dearly though, I have 5 gorgeous grandchildren I love with all my heart. I couldn't imagine my life without them. I hope I didn't scare anyone away, I would love to be able to make friends with members in the group that know what I'm talking about and can share their troubles with me as we go through life with adult children we'd like to send to their room. lol. That's really bad especially when they live in their own homes. I am an honest person and I don't sugar coat anything, it is what it is. Sometimes though I need a place to go and be able to let my hair down and gripe a little bit without being judged. So lets start to get to know each other, thats what I came here for. ♥ ♥ ♥
Hello, my name is Brie, I'm a 56 yr old mother of 4 adult kids. I have 7.75 grandbabies. LOL, the reason I say 7.75 is because my 8th is due in a couple of weeks. I'm so glad to find this group and look forward to getting to know women I can relate to and share stories =) Don't get me wrong, I love interacting with all the younger mommies and sharing wisdom, and experience, but it's nice to find a group of women where we can get together to share our "been there, done that" stories too.

I don't know that I've ever been a "empty nester" because my three "adult" kids have never really left. They moved out and in and out and in..... I have 7 grandkids that also have been out and in. So...that's both good and not so good, it's a fine line that I walk sometimes between advice and just doing it myself because they are here. I'm glad to have found a group with maybe the same things happening.

Hi, my name is Nancy and I live in Ohio. I have been happily divorced for 23 years. I have 3 daughters (40, 39, 37) and 1 son (31). I have 11 grands. The oldest is 19 and a junior in college. The youngest is 3. Included in there are 2 sets of 7 year old grandsons. My oldest 2 daughters had twins 3 months apart.
