Is anyone else tired all the time?

I know this is a common complaint, but I am talking about getting a reasonable amount of sleep at night and still dragging myself through the day.  I gave up caffeine thinking that would help and it has somewhat, but I have days like yesterday where I feel just exhausted and can't enjoy anyone or anything.  It is embarrassing to be ready to go to sleep as early as  8:30 when my family is wanting me to give them some time.

Any suggestions?

I've felt the same way over the past few weeks.  I think the added holiday weight is part of it (I'm working on that!), and I think winter in general is part of it.

Start watching your diet.  Work out a little, and increase it over the next couple weeks.  You should feel some changes w/in a couple weeks.  If not, then possibly see a doctor, maybe have your thyroid checked.  Have you suffered from depression in the past?

You might also try B Complex vitamins.

Your B-12 or Vit. D could be low. Get it checked!

I suggest you see your doctor have some tests done.  I feel tired all the time but I have Sarcoidosis, SLE, CHF, COPD an Hypothyroid.  You may not have any of those, you may just have a seasonal disorder that some get during the winter but I do suggest you see your doctor to get tested

My husband and I are tired all the time, him even more so.  Every time I talk to him when he's at work, he's saying how tired he is.

I am tired all the time too. It really cramps my style. I have been taking some extra vitamins and seems to be helping somewhat. I think I have some sleep apnea, because I snore, and sometimes I wake myself up, like holding my breath. sheesh!

I would talk to your doctor, you could be deficient in something, I have had days when I have no energy but not everyday and it usually comes with little sleep the night before

I started falling asleep at the movies.  Last summer they tested my thyroid level and it was extremely low.  They gave me a Rx and now it's normal but I'm still tired all the time.  I recently read that many people have food "allergies" they are not aware of that make them tired.
