Out of the mouths of Babes

Just spent the weekend babysitting my gds up in No. VA, which is about 2 hrs away from where we live. we ahven't seen them since New Year's. Now My oldest is 2 1/2 and the little one is almost 4 months. When Audrey came downstairs from her nap and saw us, she turned to me and had a huge smile on her face and ran to me with her arms opened wide for a hug and screamed "GRAMMA!!" Enough to melt my heart!! and to make Grandpa jealous! lol!

Awwww!  I remember when Riley (g.d. #2, now 6) was in all-day daycare when they were in my care.  Each day, when I walked into her "school" room to pick her up, she'd run to me, arms outstretched, giggling and yelling, "Gramma!" Now all 3 of them meet me at the front door whenever I go visit them!  I have to tell them to move away from the door so that I can close it!!
