Are you picky about what brand you use? How about fabric softener?

I am very picky. I use Era detergent, Purex crystals and Arm and Hammer wet fabric softener sheets. I'm a freak about my clothes smelling good.

I almost never use fabric soften or dryer sheets. I buy the things and forget to use them LOL

I prefer to use tide but often have to buy generic due to prices. I also LOVE Vivd bleach...I have yet to find a stain taht it does not get out.

I am sensitive to most detergents and softeners. I stick with Downey, the original, because I grew up with it. For detergent I use arm & hammer or purex - the free and clear ones, without the extra stuff. I grew up with Cheer, but then it changed and I couldn't use it.

I use to make my own. But admittedly I'm shallow and care more about smelling good then the environment. Just in this instance. I still use cloth napkins. LoL

I love Gain but if I am buying, I get whatever is on sale.  I like the Purex Crystals because I can put them in at the beginning of the wash and then not have to worry about catching the rinse cycle.

I know its not the detergent, but for my husband's or granddaughter's really dirty clothes I use the Tide "bubbles" & they really get stains out.  Lyss had blueberry & strawberry stains on her pajamas & they came right out.

No. As long as its a brand name. I don't use purex, makes me itch.

I'm not picky I have never had any reactions to a brand so I usually buy whats on sale
