I would easily say that most people are emotional eaters! Its and addiction just like a drug :( I have lost 20 pounds since December and would LOVE to loose another 20.

I approach it like I did quiting cigarette smoking. I feel the need to eat and I know if I wait a few minutes, go do something else, the need will pass.

Once you start drinking water you will get to where you LOVE it and the more you drink the better off you are. Hungry drink a glass of water and go brush your teeth. That helps too :)

I am a stress/emotional eater. I am stressed right now and have been for a few days. So I tend to eat even though I'm not hungry. SO...I am trying to stay busy. Walking outside, weeding the flower beds, washing dishes, reading, anything to keep my mind off the issues so I don't turn to food. Sad but true.

I am down 33 from November but would LOVE to be down another 30 by Sept. Not sure it's gonna happen but I'm gonna try and remind myself that if it is only 3 more lbs, that is 3 lbs I am not carrying around.

Keep at it ladies!!

My progress for this week. I started to walk to work in the morning. It's a nice way to start the day. Also, no soda pop for me this week, hoping I can start drinking more water. I am watching what I eat and trying to add more fresh fruit and less salt. Let's see how this works!!

Haven't walked as much this week as I had been.  I did walk 2 days at 2 1/2 miles each time but seriously need to get back at it.

Wow Dawn, 33 lbs?  That's fantastic!  Don't you wish you were the type that stopped eating when they are stressed ;)  PM me anytime you want to talk.

I have had nothing to drink but water since November, except for some juice a couple of times. It is water, all day long.

The only time I stopped eating was when my dh cheated on me and left. I was so devastated that I was sick just thinking about cooking. I lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks. It was a very rough time.

Ok well me and Amber joined the gym near our house.  It only costs 24.00 a month and theres no contract.  It's also great because we can go 24 / 7.  We have a way to get in the door and it's anytime.  There are cameras there so you will feel safe.  I've been everyday this week and walked 3 miles or more each time.  Today I did 3.25 miles in an hour and did part of that on an incline.  My butt cheeks are hurting too!!!   LOL   TMI?  Sorry ladies!!  LOL
