The picture on the cover of Time Magazine is of a woman who is breast feeding her 3 year old son. How do you feel about breastfeeding? What is a good age to stop? Would you ever breastfeed your child as long as they wanted to? I heard about a woman in England who was breastfeeding a 7 year old.

It can certainly make people uncomfortable to see a kid walk up to mom and unbutton her blouse, but I guess the whole issue is personal for each mother. I nursed my daughter until she was 14 months. I am certain that the producers of TIME magazine wanted and expected to cause controversy and get people talking, not to mention buying a copy of their publication. And it works, everybody is talking about it.
