why do people LIE so much on the computer???...lol

I think it is easy to lie or to be more open and tell things you never would when online because people feel secure. They will most likely never meet the person they are talking to and there is a sense of anonymity about the Internet. I also think some people embellish things for attention because they are lonely.
A friend of mine, we had this conversation and this was our conclusion. Due to personal experience.
Not sure why someone would lie on line, seems to me on line you can say what you really think and NOT lie because you may never meet anyone face to face. I may lie face to face because I really cant stand to hurt someones feelings.
To answer your question....someone once said "because they can" LOL Theres a country song that says I look so much better on line. Cracks me right up
I am not sure what you mean, moms lying in this group? About what, and how do you know they are lying? I have certainly never said anything that isn't true, and this is now the only group I use on CM. Please explain what you mean.
