driving to ny in august for my nieces sweet sixteen! On the way up we'll be stopping in VA to visit with my son, maryland to pick up bf's kids, NJ to visit his family and finally NY. Im really excited about it, havent been on vacation in 5yrs.

 

We'll be gone for 9 days, the only troubling part for me is that the party is a saturday, so we havve to leave from the party early and drive straight home(about 18 hrs) because school starts that monday!  

 Well with both of you driving...you can do it.  Haha just who gets the night shift?

 My 20 yr old dd and I are going to Vegas (again).  Dh is staying home to take care of our dog.  He has no desire to go to Vegas.

 

 My dd talked me into going back to Vegas by saying we should go see the Cirque du Soleil Elvis show and Celine Dion.  We are also seeing The Phantom.  We just love hanging out at the pool during the day.  I tried putting a quarter in one of those slot machines but lost it so I won't do that again, lol.

 That sounds like alot of fun.  I love hanging out at the pool in Vegas too.  They have some really good drink specials. ; )  Will you guys drive there or fly there?
