When was the last time you all ”suffered” from a hangover?
Exand I had been married just just about 7 months we had gone to visit his parents for his mother's birthday in his hometown. Since it was near Christmas a lot of the kids who were pursuing careers out of town were coming back to the nest for the big family Christmases and a number of the ex's school mates were in town. After celebrating her birthday that evening with family members he and I decided to go out on the town and catch up with some of his old buddies. One of the guys didn't believe the ex's claim that I could hold my own when it came to liquor and I was up for the challenge (Dummy). Jack and Jose' (those who drink know who I'm talking about LOL) and then someone brought out the cigars, yes in my "wilder" days I had been known to smoke a stogie or two...so I light up right along with the boys. Keep in mind none of these guys were with women, it was all just a bunch of mid to late twenty year old men and one very stupid female that night LOL. But I admit I did hold my own...until we went for breakfast...soon as we walked into the restaurant and I took a whiff of the bacon and eggs frying everything came up, and it kept coming up...and up...and up...and I went back to the car and laid down. When we got to his parents I took a blanket and a pillow into the bathroom with me LOL. Next day and for a week following I felt like I was coming out of an ether coma. I vowed never again and I have never since then gotten that drunk...I don't let myself get that drunk, it would probably kill me now anyways...
I haven't drank in over 21 years, but when I did drink, I didn't get drunk. My body, at the time, had the ability to drink the biggest drinker under the table and drive home in perfect shape. Seriously I could NOT get drunk, tried. Didn't work. HIGH tolerance for alcohol.
Hope you feel better soon and glad you had a good time.
I like my red wine though and drink a glass or two regularly

Just wait, your days are coming LOL. I used to drink with my dad who was an alcoholic for over 40 years. I could go drink for drink with him when I was in my twenties, but as I neared my 30s my tolerance began to drop. After becoming a mom it dropped even farther because I hadn't been drinking on a regular basis. I was 10 months without alcohol. Then Lupus took over and I now get sick when I drink wine, even one glass, I get sick when I eat grape jelly or jam, I get sick when I drink grape juice or any juice containing grape juice (read labeles you'll find it in cranberry juice even apple juice!). I have to be careful now. sigh...ans I used to curl up with a bottle of wine all to myself...

I hope that never happens!! I buy it by the box so it's always on hand these days. I'm 40 now, and I don't drink to get drunk..I drink because I like it..lol (that is so bad!)
I use the 'excuse' that a couple here and there is good for my heart. It is...but it's a fabulous excuse. Heart disease runs in the family..and diabetes..so I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best
I have never had a hangover in my life. Even when I did drink, there were a couple of times I drank to the point of vomiting (late teens), and still no hangover. My brother gets a hangover if he drinks just one beer and tells me I am a bitch LOL
I took a nap and I feel much better!!! Not totally normal, but closer.
I think I've only ever thrown up twice from having to much. And I got wasted twice on wine. Worst hangovers ever!!!! Never again!!!!
I wonder how my niece is feeling today! Although she's still a big partier. She may feel better than I think!!!!
I never have. Although one time I am pretty sure I was drunk. It was at Disney, and I was hot and sweaty and very thirsty. We were having dinner at a restaurant in the Polynesian, and I ordered one of those alcoholic drinks in a pineapple, which I'd read online was a don't miss. I sucked it right down, and woah! I felt OK again after a meal and lots of water, but I learned my lesson about not drinking on an empty stomach.
