was drunk or obviously impaired in some way?
I have many times. The last time this happened I called the police and followed the person from a distance letting the police know where they were until they were pulled over. It makes me VERY angry. My babies could be out on the street with those idiots,
Once I know I did because the car was swerving all over the road and eventually ran off the shoulder and then hit a tree. Lucky for them no one else was involved and only the right side of their car hit it so they weren't hurt badly. She tried to say she was tired and not drinking but that was SO not true.
Yes, a few years back I was driving home from work (I was a bartender) and it was about 2:30 in the morning. I was on a 3 lane highway and he came over 2 lanes to almost hit me and continued weaving down the road. I slowed way down and got behind him and called 911. I stayed behind him until I saw the police coming from behind. Since I gave the dispatcher all of my contact info, I just went on home once they pulled him over. I felt very good about it, too! They never called me, so I'm betting that they had more than enough to arrest him....
no and i hope i never do

Yep and I am always afraid to pass them if they are going all over the road.
No. Good job calling the cops!
Yes. several months ago I left the grocery store and a man that was in there, very drunk, was driving in front of me. He went from swerving to going about 20 and finally pulled over. When I passed by I saw him fall over in the seat. I called the sheriff and let them know where he was , in case he woke up and started driving again. Scary stuff!
Oh yes, I usually stir very clear of them. I have call the police for things I see on the road but haven't had a mobile with me when I spotted a drunk yet. Darn!
I have suspected it a few times.
