I saw something this morning. It kinda made my heart warm. I was sitting at a light waiting to turn. There is a minimart/gas station on the corner. I see this guy... probably mid 30's putting gas in his car, another guy, probably in his late 50's pulls in on his Harley on the other side of the pump, he has an American flag on the back of his bike, and a jacket that from what I could tell has his patches from his days in the past of his years in the service. I didn't need to be able to hear what was going on, but the younger guy pulls the gas hose out of his car and moves to the other side of the pump, shakes the older guys hand and proceeds to put gas in the Harley.
I just thought that was an awesome thing to do. It made me really think about how I'm perceived by other people. I try to be nice, but there is just so much negativity around with no one working, and the people who are working, complaining about how their taxes are going to the people that aren't working ect....... this though made me realize that it just takes one little act of kindness to make someones day.
Do you pay it forward?
