Good morning....hope you're all ready for the start of the week. It's Monday already. Still hot here in NC. I've got an easy day today so maybe I'll get to the gym. I haven't been in a week since I had all the sinus issues last week. Not sure what else I'll do today. Hope you all have a good day!!
Is it hot where you are? It's really hot and humid here in NC today but it's supposed to cool down for a couple of days and I can't wait! :)

Naw, not too bad it's only 73 out at almost 11 not supposed to get any more then 82 today we'll see. I am just not in the mood to do much ever have one of those days? LOL!
Already been out and picked up limbs from trimming yesterday, fed/watered the birds, took the dogs out, trash out, dishes washed, living room cleaned.
I have edited photos, need to update blog and take something out for supper.
I need to make laundry detergent, taco seasoning and all purpose cleaner. YEP make my own stuff. Cheap and last for months! Last time I made everything was Feb and April, depending on which item.
I also need to strip my bed and wash those and towels.
Normal Monday, anything to stay inside! HOT ugh
LOL You know, you probably wouldn't work as hard if your job was outside of the home. lol It is hot. I'm so ready for fall.
When you make your detergent what does it smell like? I know thats probably a crazy question but I really love it when my clothes smell good. Its one reason I love gain and buy it when its on sale.

Not at crazy question at all. It does not smell when the clothes are washed. I am highly sensitive to fragrance. Another reason I make my own.
You can add aromatic essential oil, about 20 drops, to make it smell however you want. They sell those at the health food stores. I do have some lavender but I perfer it to not smell.
I do love the smell of Gain, but gives me a major headache.

You know, you're the 2nd person to tell me that it gives them a headache. One of my friends can't even wear perfume now. I don't get it. She always wore it. Not overpowering but she wore it. I wear it and she swears it doesn't bother her if I'm wearing it but that she cant.

I can't stand fragrant smelling things either and perfumes does give me major headaches. I can smell that and smoke on people a mile away it seems.
I have been making most of my own cleaners for a year now. I agree you can just add in fragrance drops or use dryer sheets when you dry but then I hang up almost everything year round.
Also when you are using things like dryer sheets it clogs up your dryer & it clogs up your clothes. Use only vinegar in your rinse for a while to get the soap build up out of your towels and such.
I have to tell you all that the savings is out of this world when you don't use chemicals to wash and clean with.
Mostly I use Vinegar & water for lots of cleaning.
