danny chen, a 19 yr old army private committed suicide after being hazed by an army sgt... he was dragged across the ground on his bare skin, kicked, pelted with rocks, was called racial slurs that were announced over a loud speaker, and was made to sleep on the floor...
the sgt.'s attorney stated that chen slept while on duty and that the sgt was angry with him/ his performance...

i do understand that but to deliberately beat and physically/ verbally taunt a person like that is wrong...thats why he's being reprimanded and charged with murder...im sure the dead officer knew that he wasn't going to the boy scouts ...nor did he think he'd be treated like that

The kid blew his head off in the latrine...It was a huge deal. The higher ups were relieved of duty and then court martialed..was a big story at the time. My BIL was so shaken...and not to mention..someone had to clean up the mess...
