My names Evelyn and am 56yo .Live with my 2nd husband of 12 years in the Missouri Ozarks but was born and bred in MD/VA.I have one 26 yo daughter and two grandchildren.My granddaughter is 7yo and I've raised her since she was a baby and a 4yo grandson. They all lived with me up until July when she moved to KS with her so called boyfriend to live with my ex.My granddaughter still lives with me and I have total legal custody of her.
Me and my daughter have a very rough relationship which mainly is caused by her way of living and lack of responsibility. She is 26 and has held no job longer then 3 months.Went to college and quit ect.ect...2 children and no marriage and different Dads.
I love my grandbabies,cooking,reading photography and anything artsy craftsy.lol Will be starting college for culinary arts in the next week or so. And am scared to death! Its been 37years since I was in school.
And I tend to ramble a lot.lol

Welcome, Evelyn! Ahhhh the Missouri Ozarks! I live a few hours away and when I was younger we'd take a day trip to see the leaves in the fall. And the dogwoods in the springtime. My daughter and I also had a rocky relationship for similar reasons although I'm happy to report she's had no babies. And is now 32. I also have a son who is 22 and graduated from college in June after what seemed like 4 very long years for me! I am single and happy to remain that way. Oh, and i like to ramble, too! Again, welcome the group and I look forward to getting to know you! Kudos for getting back to school - you'll do just fine! Keep us posted on how that goes - and I am hoping you'll share some recipes with us! :o)
