Share a favorite family recipe....
Beef Stick (summer sausage)
4 lbs hamburger (cheapest, fattiest burger you can find)
3 T. Morton Tender Quick Salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. table salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 T. liquid smoke
*Day 1*- Mix burger and Morton's salt. Refrigerate over night.
*Day 2*- Add the rest of the ingrediants to burger and mix very well. Shape into 3 loaves. Bake on a broiler pan @ 225 for 3 hours. Let cool completely.
