 My MIL hosts TG every year...it's her thing. I love it, she is a great cook. She makes the turkey and tamales and we all pitch in with the sides and with the clean-up.

It was nice because we have never lived near them. 3 summers they got to see them and cousins a lot. It was a good thing. My mom and stepdad lived a few miles from my in laws

MIL FIL...me& DH we have 3 kids and 3 grands. BIL and wife 3 kids 2 grands. SIL and her DH 3kids 5 grands. And SIL that is single ...so 28 of us :-)

At the time we were all local. If it was now we would have been 8 hrs away.
