The Monday after Thanksgiving DH and I gave our 23 yr old son a 90 day notice to move from our home. He has no dependents, bills or other responsibilities. He would never pay rent, did nothing around the house, always needed to borrow "just a few bucks", refuses to get a GED after dropping out of school 5 yrs ago. The list goes on and on. He will be moving out in the next week or two. He found a house to share with a friend of his and his mother. Still not on his own like he should but hey.....it's a start. He knows he cannot move back home. He has gotten a stern reminder to not screw up and get kicked out like the last two places. As soon as he is moved out his room will be converted into something different besides his empty bedroom. Hopefully he can finish getting his life together in his own place. Cause he sure wasn't doing it here at our house.

Hooray!! You will be amazed at what a 'child' will chose to do when they are not at home. My kid's places are CLEAN and picked up. Unbelievable. They tortured my house!!! LOL Congratulations
I hope it works out too. I am glad to see him beginning to stand on his own two feet. Yet being his mother I have those normal moronic worries. Will he be okay? Will he eat okay? Come home for Sunday Dinner Son every couple weeks! Blah, blah, blah. I must be nuts. Haha.
