Who was it for? Your child's or grandchild's back to school night, parent teacher meeting? Science projects?
Perphaps you have gone back to school?
The last time I was in a classroom was last year (January)for my nephew, it was for a what are we going to do with him meeting with several school staff and his therapist. Not fun.

Wow! Thats a long time in class rooms.
Quoting teaching1972:
I started school when I was four. After that there was only one year that I wasn't in school until 2011. Since then we have visited our grandsons each year to eat with them and attend activities or pick them up.
I guess I should have added that from 1972 to 2011 I was mostly the teacher. I continued taking classes to get my masters degree and workshops to stay current. For the most part, I loved it.
Thats great that you enjoy it.
I can only imagine how rewarding it can be.

Yes it is hard work in many ways but pay is better but I really enjoy teaching the little ones.
Quoting Esmrlda:
You can say that again!
Quoting tinysmom160:
More money nursing
Quoting Esmrlda:
What made you give up teaching?
Quoting tinysmom160:
When my daughter was in first grade I taught for 3 years and had my own classroom so 15 years ago
Many talents! You are gifted.

Quoting Esmrlda:
You are full of all kinds of talents!
Quoting homeskoolmama:
Well, I homeschooled my boys and we had a 'classroom' but I also taught in public school in 1999, taught sunday school in 2001,2002. As for me taking a class...hmmm.2006
Thats good that you have a handle on it, your seasonsed. LOL, I always feel bad that that kids think they can run all over the subs.
Quoting dinc:
I have subbed for a long time. It gets better. I bring extra things to do and treats too. I have met a lot of great kids.
Quoting Esmrlda:
Oh your a brave one! I always hear that the subs get no respect.
Quoting dinc:
Yesterday. I am a substitute teacher.
