A Strange Man in My Bed

Well, not actually, but it feels rather like it.  My husband, who stopped shaving about 40 years ago when he was a young university student in Scotland, decided to shave off his beard.  He is looking for a new work position, so decided on a new look.  Although he had a short beard, and as you can see, it was grey which made it recede even more, he still looks a little different.  His skin underneath is like a baby's.  I think we have discovered the secret to youthful aging.  LOL

Here are the Before, and the After.....

He definitely looks younger and baby-faced in the "without" photo.

But I don't think he looks all that much older, just more distinguished?!? with the facial hair.

Nice-looking either way!

Side-note: Isn't he younger than you?

He does look much different without the beard but, as has been stated in previous posts, nice looking with and without.  Takes a bit of getting used to though, doesn't it?  I remember when my son was but a baby, hubby had a full beard.  One night after I had put  my 10 month old down for the night and had gone to bed myself, hubby decided to shave.  On getting up the next morning, I put the baby in bed with hubby and when he turned over, both the bab y and I backed away.  Much as I disliked the beard when he had it, it did take awhile to see him without it.

I like both ways.  Just curious, how old is he?  I remember my first husband shaved off his mustache and I couldn't stop laughing every time I looked at him.  He grew it back and hasn't shaved it since, lol.

I like him better without the facial hair, not a beard as it was so short.
