I did some research after the replies to my post about the wedding in the ferris wheel in Seattle. Two summers ago when my daughter, husband and I were in London, England, we went up in the London Eye. It is 443 feet tall, 394 feet diameter and each air condictioned car (capsule) holds up to 25 people, and you could sit or walk around to look at the view. This was taken of me in the car with Big Ben clock tower in the background:
This is us in the Seattle Great Wheel, quite a bit smaller at 175 feet high, and the gondolas each hold 6 seated adults.
If anyone has fear of heights, neither of these wheels would be for them.
