It would have been down yesterday but I just had too much to do with cleaning up the kitchen & dining room. Running to the store & then hubby was home from work. I plan to do it today.

I take down my tree on the evening of Epiphany (Three Kings Day, January 6th) but this year it has to come down earlier since we are putting the house on the market.

When we put up a tree, it stayed up until New Years day.  I don't put up a Christmas tree any more though ...

Since we have used the artificial tree the last few years, we will leave it up and redecorate it for Valentine's Day. Anna is homeschooled and we participate in a valentine exchange with other homeschoolers across the US. We will decorate the tree with them as they come in.

When I had a real one, I would leave it up until the needles fall off too much. One year it was mid-February!

My second son often does not come home for Christmas and we will do a mini-Christmas in mid-January when he can. So no matter what tree it will be up for sure until after he comes home!

I might do that tomorrow since we'll be gone for New Years Eve and New Year's Day.
