I thought I was in love so many times, I lost count. Really it was just twice in my life.

I have been through a few serious relationships and I really do believe I was in love at the time. There are different types of love. I just realized that my partners did not share the same type or depth of love to base a marraige on. Or at least what I thought a good relationship should be.

What a good question!

I thought I was in love many, many times. I really believe that I have truly been in love three times. My first high school love, the kids' father and my SO (12 years and counting).

Like most teens I fell in and out of love often, but only once before hubby did it seem like the real thing but as it turned out wasn;t.  Then along came dh and I knew what the real thing really was.

When I was younger and dating probably went through a few that I thought I was in love with. The only thing is it does have to be reciprocated.

Then their were those break-ups that devastate you. You can't eat, sleep, or thing correctly. That has happened twice, once with a guy that I knew before my husband and then when I was dating my husband and we broke up. That was a long, long time ago. I lost a ton of weight and found out that even though I'm petite in height, 101 pounds wasn't a good look for me.

Anyways we then got back together and married. We got back together in 1983 and married in July of 1985.
