Who were you with? Which type of coloring did you use?
Last year for Easter with my husband, son, his gf at that time, daughter and me. We used some strange kind of dye that my mom had given us years ago. Didn't work that well but we had fun.
Last year at this time. I color eggs every year, usually on the Friday or Saturday before Easter, and usually while watching the movies The 10 Commandments with Yul Bryner & Charleton Heston, or Easter Parage with Fred Astaire & Judy Garland. I used to color eggs with my brother when we were kids, and then with my son til he grew up & left home. Now, I do it by myself but it's still fun for me. I just love seeing those pastel colored eggs nestled in a basket of green grass :)
when my kids were little
I was with my girls and used one of those kits you buy in the grocery store.
It's been many years, when my kids were small...
Two years ago with the kids at my BFF's house.
Last year the kids did it but it was more because they knew we wanted them to, not because they wanted to.
I don't think they are going to do them this year.
Last Easter. I was in Georgia and my daughter and grandchildren colored eggs. I think she bought 6 dozen or more.
I'm always the first one to dye an egg- my kids are just now 7, 5 and 3, so they don't really remember from a year ago how to do it.
Maybe the 7 year old, but definitely not the 5 and 3 y/o.
We use the regular dye that comes in the kits.
Couldn't even tell you. My son was done with it about 8-9.
