Use more water fill up yourself containers instead of plastic water bottles that we use once and then toss.

Dont buy products with heavy plastic packaging, the kind you have to get the heavy duty scissors out to open the package.

 I know what you are talking about.  Why in the heck would a company package something so It is impossible to get into.  Or how about the hard plastic that requires scissor and usualy a hand cut to get into??  That stuff is awful inside the house and the land-fill!

Just be smarter.

Do not fall for all the marketing tricks out there that encourage people to buy things they don't need.

Wouldn't that be nice, it does seem as thought people are starting to wising up about being materialistic and go back to the basics.
