Good morning.....time for work again and I slept so good last night!  I woke up hungry so I'm having some coffee, yogurt with fresh blueberries and whipped topping mixed in AND toast.  lol  Told you I was hungry.

I hope you all have a good day.  I have work on the agenda today and that's about it

Good Morning!

I have to work 9-4:30. Nothing much on the agenda other than that. Home to do some Boy Scout stuff.

Up at 3:08 this morning, got a jump start with the FL group.

Mom's appt with the memory center went fine.  The doctor thinks she has pseudodementia and that her forgetfulness, problems with cooking, and things seeming to be brand new all the time are due to depression!  She prescribed Remeron and said it takes about 3 weeks to "kick in."  Mom has a followup appt in 6 weeks.  And get this - mom and dad are going to see a counselor!  Mom gets upset with dad always repeating things and doing everything; dad says he repeats things and does things because most of the time she doesn't remember.  They'll each have an indivdual session and then together.   lol.

This afternoon at 2 I get to go back to the dentist.  they are going to remove the filling they put in, clean out the root canal and then I don't know what.  lol.  Right now between the deep cleaning and this re-do root canal, I owe $2300.  ugh.  I think I'm gonna have to get a crown but that means going back to my first dentist and I have no clue how much that's gonna cost.   Oh well!  I'll just have to put in more hours to pay for everything, right?  UGH.

Happy Tuesday, all!

Working.  I got a data base to work on yesterday.  The document has 214 pages.  When I increase the font so I can read it better it has 264 pages.  The matching and true/false questions are in tables.  When I take those out of the tables so that I can format them, it gets longer still.  Chapter 1 isn't bad.  Chapter 2 has 101 true/false questions in the table.  There are 20 chapters total.  This is going to take a while.

What I wish I was doing was going back to bed, the dogs had me up early and I just feel exhausted, what I will be doing is going to  work here in a bit, Alzheimer's Support group meeting to facilitate this evening and then hopefully getting done in time to go to Baccaluarate for my niece's graduating class. We'll see if this all works out! Have a great day all!

I have to meet someone at Buger King at 12:30, she wasnt to purchase some of my raffle tickets from me. Then I will take a quick run to drop off two of the paintings I made for a benefit for a local girl who needs to see specialists in Chicago. I may stop in to see my mom also.

Don had to take the car to work again. The guy he rides with to work has a high-drama girlfriend, or, at least, that is my opinion. He is a friend of Don's and we don't think they are well-suited for each other. She has appointments for various things for three days in a row and he won't be working because he needs to drive her. A lot of her stories do not seem to ring true. Don had to go in yesterday on his day off because of him having to leave for her. Well, now it is affecting our life also. I am really hoping it will not become a pattern but my gut instinct says it probably will be. This really puts Don in an awkward position if it continues and it really is just high drama. Oh, well, we shall see.

Anna and I will probably walk to the library and maybe the grocery store. If she gets her schoolwork done in a timely fashion then we will walk to a nearby park, too.

The sander with the vacuum attachment wasn't working so Don couldn't sand the drywall without kicking up a lot of drywall dust. Not good for anybody! So we are still not finished. If the guy is in a hurry he can get someone else. He is a friend so Don feels guilty about leaving him high and dry and wants to do a good job, so I want to support Don on that. It could possibly mean more jobs in the future, too, and we could use the money. La,la,la, la-la! Life goes on...

Feeling a little bitter today, can you tell?

I'll feel better once I get outside! I should get going...well, maybe one more cup of coffee first! and more MWAK. Ha ha!

I know depression can be complicated, but if her dementia is as simple as that, well, I hope the counseling works for them!

Don's Mom had problems early on with her dementia. The docs cut back and eliminated some of her meds and that helped for awhile. Dementia is tough to deal with whatever the cause! You are a saint of a daughter and they are so lucky to have you around to help them out.
