Have you ever seen a Turken?  A cross breed between a Turkey and a Chicken?  The childrens Meseum had one last week.  Its a funny looking kind of bird.

I had always though that's was a Turken was. I had no idea there was a live bird like this!

Quoting Cindy18:

Nope. I thought you were talking about a TurDucken, a turkey stuffed with a duck stuffed with a chicken.

Then what is it?

I was told that's what it is

Quoting lancet98:

A turken is not a cross between a turkey and a chicken.

These birds were originally bred in Hungary, and they are NOT a cross between a turkey and a chicken.

It was mentioned that it's a breed of chicken. No turkey involved.

They taste like chicken.
Turkens are just a unique breed of chicken, bred around certain gene mutations to have the naked necks. Not crossed with turkeys.
Your childrens museum does not sound very reputabl

Thank you! They are cute! I have two and find them to be very alert and untelligent. They have beautiful body plummage and a lovely shape.
Oh and they are not a cross. Just a rare chicken breed
