Ordering Checks through the mail

I often receive advertisements for ordering checks either online , by phone, or through the mail instead if going through your bank.

Have any of you actually did it?

f You did, were you satisfied?

How many checks are in a "box"?

Do you think it is cheaper to order them this way?

Does your bank have a problem with it?

My bank dosent make the checks, they refered me to a company that makes them. So I guess it dosent matter just as long as the routing and checking account numbers are correct.

I use to always order my checks from a mail order catalogue.  I would always send them a blank check and deposit slip so they know what kind to send.  The bank doesn't care but you should ask them to be sure.  It was cheaper but now we get them free so I don't do it anymore.

My husband always orders the checks, so I'm not sure how he does it.

I have, it's perfectly safe. I have done it through a company called checks in the mail when I wanted custom checks. I rarely use checks anymore, but do get them every once in awhile.

My bank charges about $25 for a box of 150 checks, they are much cheaper at walmart or one of those check places.

How long after youorder does it take for your checks to arrive?

Do they add shipping or is it included?
