I always seem to say something odd around her

There is a mom I know and every time Im around her she puts me on edge and I seem to say something odd.  We are such different people and normally it doesn't bother me in the least.  There are other people I know who I dont mesh with and I can just be polite and let it go.  But for some reason every time Im around her I cant.

Funny, of all my daughter's friends these are the only parents she flat out says she doesn't like.

Trust your instincts.  They will always lead you in the right way.  You must both be picking up on something or at least that's what I would think if it were me

You seem to be working off of your daughter's impressions.

Then you must be getting the same impressions.

I have a co-worker like that.  She is super moody and always seems offended.

Sometimes I feel like I start babbling around her.  I have also resolved to keep it polite, short and sweet.  There is not need for much conversation with people who want to put you on your heals.

I just avoid those people. Anything said is cursory and I move on.

So she basically makes you nervous enough to say blunders is that right?
