Oliver will be having a Pokemon birthday party, so his mom and I are making Poke' balls. I bought ping pong balls, we taped half of each one with painters tape, and tonight I started spray painting them. I've done 24 so far, 6 need a little touch up. Just 48 more to paint!! Then daughter will add the black band that goes around each.

7-17-17 Here's what they look like now.  They're not quite done....They need the little black/white thing added.  We're using those sticky hole reinforcement things....

This is what they'll look like, pretty much, when they're done.

I love it!!! DS and his girlfriend had a Pokemon party for her little guy. They made the pinata and all the decorations themselves. Both are very artistic and she is crafty. It was lots of fun!!

I'd love to see pics!!

Daughter and I did everything for her wedding and two birthday parties so far... an Alice in Wonderland one and a Harry Potter one. I think the 13 year old is gonna ask for a Walking Dead party.......

We've done those parties too!

I have a online friend, from my quilting group here on CM, who goes all out for her kids' bday parties - every year!!! She makes everything herself. Every year!!!! I don't think I could do that.

Oliver's been "taking lessons".  There's a game store not too far from my daughter, where they have tournaments every Wednesday night.  Oliver meets with one of the guys that works there, for an hour every (most - they spaced it out this week) Wednesday before the tournament, and the guy is teaching him.

Too cool!  At first I thought they were fishing "bobbers" as Breana calls them.
