ET and Gremlins

HUGE with my boys!

The Shining

I had read the book and was curious as to how it would be filmed. Classic horror. I started reading the sequel Doctor Sleep while visiting my kids in St. Paul. I forgot to take it back with me to finish so I hope my son brings it with him next time he visits us.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure

This just made me laugh - such silliness! and who can forget Large Marge!?!

Back To The Future

Aliens

Princess Bride

A favorite of all my kids. I have seen this so many times. My oldest is a huge fan!

The Thing (John Carpenter)

So intense. Another classic sci fi! A favorite of my three adult kids.

Ghostbusters

An American Werewolf in London

Poltergeist

Beetlejuice

The Howling

Loads of classic horror!

Labyrinth

The Goonies

Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom

Enemy Mine - such a good movie!  Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. - from imdb.com:  A soldier from Earth crash-lands on an alien world after sustaining battle damage. Eventually he encounters another survivor, but from the enemy species he was fighting; they band together to survive on this hostile world.
