1820 - Famous frontiersman Daniel Boone died peacefully in his sleep near present-day Defiance, MO.  He was 86.


1969 - The Brady Bunch premiered on television.


2008 - Screen legend Paul Newman passed away from cancer in Westport, CT.  He was 83.  His career spanned more than 50 years, and he made over 65 movies.

Daniel Boone lived a long time!

The first thing I think about when I hear Brady Bunch is, "Marsha! Marsha! Marsha!"

I remember watching Jack Lalanne on TV in black and white. He was in great shape all his life. Wasn't there something about him swimming and pulling a boat?
