We've seen flakes twice, but they don't stick around.

It did, but it melted within a few days. Nothing in a little over a week and warmer than normal. I hope we do get snow soon and BEFORE Christmas lol. I hate green Christmas.

We've had a light dusting a few times but it melted quickly.  May get some this week that sticks around.

Nope.

We get hit with a couple of days of serious snow\ice once every second or third year in January or February. In 2011 we had one that closed all the schools for five days. It also closed lots of businesses because they agree to close during such in exchange for lower utility charges. Power was off at the home of the parents of each SIL, so they stayed at our home because without electricity the thermostate on the gas furnace dosen't light the gas. Also roads are not safe.

No. Nor will it ever! At least, not below 2 thousand feet.
