Nathan has been asking to bake a blueberry cobbler for so long and I finally went to the store to get blueberries(can, had to make it easy for him.)Well he added everything in and mixed it up, with just a little help from me, and sat by the stove waiting for it to bake.

Sorry for the really dark picture but we have a black flat top stove and here is his with a little bit of french vanilla ice cream

Just thought I would share how proud I am of my 4 yr old wanting to help me in the kitchen so we are coming up with easy , fun recipes to do! It was so yummy, I just had a small bowl.

What a great job he did! I know you had a blast spending time with him in the kitchen. My son started showing an interest in cooking about that age. He is now 12 and still loves to cook anytime he can. He has really learned a lot. I also have a 10 year old daughter who has no desire to learn anything about cooking. Haha. Enjoy your new bonding time!

Isnt it nice to have the boys to help in the kitchen?I think I watched Take Home Chef too much when I was pregnant with him.I would love to have a chefhappyI cant get my teen to help me cook for nothing.I think she better marry a chef!
