As most of you know our dearly loved BJ passed away this past Sunday. In celebration of this wonderful lady's life the admin. of 40ish and Beyond invite you today to share your thoughts and memories of BJ as well as any message you may have for her family.
For you BJ...Every time I would play this you always said it was Red's favorite and yours too....
Things that BJ taught me :
If something gets you down kick in the butt and grab a beer while you sit on it.
If some one gives you the finger give it back get home and grab a beer.
If you see some thing you like get it and grab a beer while you admire it.
Sorry I can't go on, Love you BJ.
BJ,
Your wisdom, your humor, your heart - YOU, dear BJ, will be greatly missed.
Love you.

BJ, its crazy how someone I never met only conversate with can touch you so profoundly! From the tone of your post I knew that you were someone special! You made me laugh not only on my post but on post to other members as well. You are going to be greatly missed. R.I.P..
I am still kinda a newby here, but slowly getting the hang of it. after I joined I didn't come in here much but once I did, I couldn't stop! and when I had a really bad day, and would post something, of course BJ was the one to make it all better! (no offence ladies)
This is my fondest memory and I want to share it. In BJ style she had posted about 3 songs by the time I came on. Really bad day, my youngest daugher sitting next to me, we started listening to the music, and before I knew it, we were dancing in the kitchen, and all my frustrations were gone and my 12 yr old and I were laughing away!!! I can't begin to tell you how that made me feel.
And I will never understand how you can have a connection with someone you've never actually met? But BJ always had the right words and always made me/us feel better. I didn't realize that connection till after she was gone and I actually cried! God bless you BJ and I miss you tremendously! RIP

Reality is setting in as I look for your old post and I guess I just have to move on. BJ you made an impression on me the very first day and I said to myself now there's a women who has her head on straight. I want to be more like her and conquer the world and make friends. So here's my tribute to her and please feel free to add to it.

Bj, I just can't believe that you are gone. You were such a life force, and were taken away from us so suddenly. I will miss your daily posts that I looked forward to. You always made me smile. I wish that I got the chance to meet you in real life. Maybe we will be able to meet in Heaven someday. You are missed by all of your sissys here at 40ish. I know you are with your beloved Red once again and that you are watching over Mikey. We love you BJ, and you will always be in our hearts. xoxoxo

I love how BJ would always try to help us and loved when I in turn could help her. We had kiddo's the same age and would share "notes" when they'd be little stinker or just needed a little help.
I will miss those days and her music posts that would start off in one mood and end up a party...
When Red became sick I realized that some of the crap I was going through w/my dh wasn't worth the time spent and cherished him a little more...
I don't know if BJ realized the "greatness" that she was but I will sooooo miss her!!!
Cheers!
