40ish and beyond... 40ish and beyond...
Ortho appt with Nate today he will need knee surgery to fix his problem knee. Seems his knees are just like his brothers, the inside ligament doesn't hold his kneecap in place so it tracks crooked. The good knee is the same way but not giving him trouble at the moment.

Sooooo, let's recap! Joe - knee surgery Nov. 2008. Ryan - left knee surgery May 2009.... Right knee surgery Dec. 2009. Nathan - cracked kneecap April 2010 now this Jan. 2012.

Can I run away now! OH!! And my wrist... Torn ligament, in a brace, meds for the swelling and go back in two weeks.

GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

Are they involved in a certain type of sports that lead to the knee injuries?  Or, is this just a terrible coincidence? Sorry, this really sucks :{

The ortho is spending a week in Hawaii on your business!!

Sorry for bad luck.  I'll bet you know more about knees than you ever wanted to know.

I'm beginning to wonder if I should have amputated at the neck...hahaha.

      Does this make you think --- good heavens what did I do to deserve this?  ??????? I think you have paid your dues and things should start to level out.

Well Ryan who has already had both of his done did play football.  But it's a family thing that I was hoping would only effect him.  Nathan doesn't play sports....ugh.  Their knee caps don't track in the groove where it's supposed to so just stepping wrong can throw it out and cause alot of damage.

He probably is and yes I do....hahahaha.  That's why when Nathan did his I already knew the routine.  My bosses dad is a dermatologist I called him and he gave me the script for the MRI without having to go see anyone.  When we walked in yesterday I gave the ortho his xrays and MRI and report...he just shook his head and laughed.

I wish we got airline miles for every hour we spend in a doctor's office/hospital waiting room chair. I hope your son has a speedy recovery and you too.
