My dad has always called me Changa, Spanish for monkey. I've always referred to my kids as my monkees(i was a huge fan of the monKees growing up) I have 3 kids,ta da!!! 3monkeesmama

My native name is Morning Bird and that is how it is written in great grandmothers log....I was born at 4:44 am and on my grandmothers bday so great grandmother was my godmother and elder to bath me in corn milk into the family 10 day after birth

The reason for my screen name?? Because one day I want to b the lucky one to b happy for once and to go freely.. Besides you all know my name...... :)
I love how much I've learned in this post. I picked my screen name because when I first came to CM I belonged to a group for military moms, which turned out to be more for military wives (but I didn't know that & have dropped out of that group). So I chose AndrewsMom because my son Andrew was deployed in Iraq at the time and I was looking for support. PDX stands for Portland, Oregon, where I live. I am proud to be Andrew's mom, but I am also Jacqueline's and Tyler's mom and feel really guilty that I've slighted them in some way.
